Good Morning All,
Wow, what a great weekend!  Even with the rain.  My sister came with her daughter and grandkids.  She hasn't been to see me since her husband had a heart attack 2 1/2 yrs. ago.  Finally felt she could leave him for a weekend.  Even though most of the garage sales were cancelled with the rain, there were still a few and she had fun.  Then all us girls, them plus me and Carla went to have a massage then out to eat.  Just some good old fashioned "girl time".  It was fun.  Then we surprised my sister with a birthday party and cake.  It was fun.  The girls had a blast, and of course, they always like to have one of MiMi's decorated birthday cakes :)  Got them off mid morning then vegitated the rest of the day.  Really needed that too!
Today I get to go to Charlotte's school to her kindergarten class.  It's grandparents day or week, or something.  I get to eat lunch with her.  I'm excited about that.  Carla will work from home this a.m. so she can keep Tori while I go.  I am    down 2 lbs. (even with birthday cake).  Back to my all time highest loss of 97 lbs.  Woo Hoo!!!
Got to get to moving.  Haven't been on the computer all weekend so will have to read later to catch up on everyone.  Y'all have a GREAT DAY!!

Blessings,
Carol

Good morning Train Riders!  I'm up and ready to go today.  I hit the snooze button once, then walked the dogs and went to the gym and did the Elliptical for 15 min.  Since I planned well and already had lunches made last night I've even got time this morning to pop on the train for a few.  Woohoo!

Today should be busy at work with some of my new projects and existing ones still chugging along.  I'm leaving early today to go see my surgeon for a follow up on my hernia repair.  I'm going to talk to him about taking the aspirin and Lovenox and also see about setting up a visit with the nutritionist.  I know I'm down some since I was in there last, but not as much as I'd like to be.

Tonight I'm making Spicy bean-less chili out of a low carb cookbook I have and then Jeff and I have to go grocery shopping.  If I can squeeze it in I may head back to the gym for another 15-20 min on one of the machines.  I always forget how good it feels to work out until I do it.  Wish I could bookmark the feeling somehow to help motivate me in the mornings.

Hope everyone has a great day!  Vits, water, protein and movement!  Those are the keys to a long healthy life.

Good morning all,

Less then a week to the wedding.  I will be ready cuz whatever isn't done, just won't happen.  I have a massage scheduled for tomorrow that my SIL had purchased and then had to go out of town on business so she transferred it to my name.  Then I'm meeting a dear friend in Allen for lunch and she's paying to have my nails done and a pedi.  I'm so blessed.  So tomorrow is my day of pampering and I'm looking forward to it.  The AC is still out but with the lower temps, it's not been bad.  We borrowed my sister's portable AC unit and I'm actually wrapped in a blanket right now.  Matt's calling the Home Warrenty people today to get them the paperwork they need.

I am truly blessed and love each of you.  Saying prayers for all of you.  Have a great week everyone.

Hey You Guys!
I'm at home today with a sick kiddo. I got her taken care of at about 4:30 then went to check on her again when my alarm went off. After taking her temp and deciding that school isn't an option for today I realized that Kaylee wasn't up yet. Her alarm didn't go off, so being the senior that she is, and having 8 difficult courses this semester, she decided to stay home and work on some school work. They can only miss a few days and still be exempt from finals. She's got the system down and usually only misses one to two days a year. With all of that going on, I decided to stay home too. I may end up at the dr in a bit.
We had a crazy weekend. Friday we were supposed to go to a party but we needed to get papers for the horses and I was beyond tired. Getting the papers took longer than expected so we didn't make the party but took Kaylee to Walmart instead. That was an expensive ordeal..lol
Saturday we were supposed to go run or at least make R&S, but there was a goat show going on. The younger girls have never been to one so we thought it might be important to show them what happens..they each have two goats. (6 goats total now). I woke up with a migraine. It hurt so bad that I was throwing up. I didn't get to make any of the events. Saturday night we did end up going to a party but only stayed for about an hour or so.
Yesterday was Addison's first high school rodeo! She competed in barrel racing. She did REALLY well.

Hope everyone has a great day and stays dry! Love you all!

BTW- in college I read a book from Elmer Kelton called "The Time It Never Rained" I am thinking of writing my OWN book and titling it "The Time It Never Stopped!".

Considering that I am home and everyone is where they need to be....I am going BACK to bed! Yehaw!

Good morning train riders...as you head back to work, I'm off for 3 days.  Time to recoup and rethink my plan for success.  I pretty much took the weekend off and ate crap and the scale showed me the damage this morning,.  Can't have that, so the push is on for success from now til the OH conference.

Had some great news yesterday.  My Mom's house in Arkansas sold so she'll be moving to an assisted living place in the Conroe area.  It's about 15 minutes from my sister's house so that will be awesome.  She'll be 88 in 2 weeks so we need to have her close.  The bad news is, I have to go and organize an "Estate Sale" of nearly everything she owns in 3 days time!!  I still have to break the news to my boss that I need some time off and then it's an 8 hour drive up there.  Love doing that by myself (not), but I have no choice.  She has to be out by Oct 30th.  I know it's going to be really hard for her to part with things she's had for 50 years.

Anyway, enough rambling.  Going to head to Plano tonight for dinner with Lynnette, can't wait, I miss her since she's become a "working girl".

Good Morning OH Family!

Rain....rain....go away! I've been reading the train just haven't been posting much. It's been a really hard week for me with Mark's birthday, but starting to snap out of it. Rick's foot is feeling better each day. Don't know how on earth he is going to be off 3 weeks, he is already restless. Work has been crazy busy! You would never know the economy is bad from the crowds out there. BTW if your planning on going to see Ron White with Steph and I you need to purchase your tickets ASAP. I've requested off work that night. Well better go hop in the shower, going to make a Walmart run and get ready to meet for dinner in Plano.

Your loved!

Lynnette

What did he have done to his foot? I am just asking cause I'm going to have to have foot surgery soon. I can work after 1 1/2 weeks but can't drive for 3. I have a stump nueroma.

My day started off with a dr. appt. for my quarterly lab results.  Appt time 9:30, saw the doc 11:00'ish.  Signed it at lab 11:21 out of there at 12:00.  Geezus, why can't they schedule appointments more than 15 minutes apart - especially our family doc - he likes to chat!

On the good news side - since I was there in June, I had lost 19 lbs. and he said he would prefer I lose no more than another 6-8 lbs.  Oh yeah?  Well, we'll just see what happens.  Personally, I don't want to go any lower than 140, so another 6-8 will be fine with me!  (P.S.  I'm in the normal BMI range in case you didn't look at my "DON'T L@@K" post)

I'm glad we've had the rain - now it can go away for a few days.  Especially tomorrow 'cuz I have to drive downtown to the office and turn in my old company laptop which means I'll be spending the rest of today transferring data onto an external hard drive that "The Firm" won't migrate to my new one (pictures, music, all the good stuff! LOL)

WAS looking forward to meeting Lynnette and gang for dinner tonight, but saw her post that she's cancelled.  Guess now I'll look forward to cooking dinner and watching Monday Night Football.

Hope everyone's Monday is going well.  I'm turning mine around starting now!
